NIKE SB HIGH DUNK PRO UN-HEAVENS GATE
/ 327 days agoBack in 2008 Todd Jordan (Zoo York Skateboards Pro and Nike SB Team Member) was asked to design a new colorway for the Fall 2008 lineup of NIKE SB Dunks. He came up with this similar colorway and dubbed it the Nike Heavens Gate Dunks. Nike pulled the line because of the negative connotation associated with the 1997 Heavens Gate Cult of California. I guess Nike was not thrilled about a cult that committed suicide getting their own shoe. Nike released a similar shoe called the Un-Heavens Gate. graceybear00 is selling a pair. Now you know the story.
I thought the Un-heaven gates had a white toe box? Plus the colors look off. And the sock lining is purple not baby blue
You are correct. The Un-heavens gates have a white toe box. These look like heavens gate (unreleased, obviously) bootlegs to me. Unless this kid thrashed the hell out of some sample shoes …
