Remember when Saucony were all the rage with the coremen and ladies? Maybe it was just an East Coast thing cuz I don’t think they really caught on the left coast or up here in Canada. What I like about Saucony is the simplicity of the design, very clean and subtle. In this case however Saucony has teamed up with Boston’s Bodega to flip the script on these kicks. It works, at least for me. The colorway is ill, a very springtime shoe for sure. guttagully has them with no bids and more then a few days left.

Sunday Morning.

So, who doesn’t love Sunday mornings? I have a co-worker that swears by ‘em. All day she drinks beer and watches football. Me, I prefer to split trees and watch real football (West Ham United FC), but I digress. Mr. coolbong has a sweet pair of Vans x Supreme Half Cabs for cheap, and considering the fact that these came in 2008, they look great! Now if only they would come out with a claret and blue colorway I’d be stoked.

Bad Timing.

Don’t ya just hate when you arrive at the spot and one of your friends shows up wearing the same shoes as you? That happened to me, with my kids mom. On the exact same day we both bought the same pair of Nike Air Max at different points in the day with out telling each other. Ouch. Whatever. Seller baksio1990 has the pair of shoes in question. I was never really on sold on the white midsole with the patent leather. Also, I’m kinda shocked at how much theses are going for. Maybe it’s time for me to put mine up on ebay. Hmmmm?

Moby Dick

Without a doubt these are my elusive great whale. From the first time I saw them, I knew I needed to cop a pair, but because none of my skate/sneaker shops got them, I completely missed out. For years I’ve tried to score a pair, but every time I come close, something goes wrong. Wrong size, wrong fucking shoe (WTF?!?!), beat-to-shit, etc. So when these Nike Air Safari popped up across my screen, my heart stopped. Again not my size. FUCK. But my loss is your gain. Seller 1tonkid.213 has a very crisp pair for you to scoop up real cheap. And if any readers have a 10.5 to sell please hit me up.

Now Doug (of Vinyl Noize fame), there is no way you can even justify owning 3 pairs of iron maiden Vans to me. For those that don’t know I loathe, no, despise, no, HATE anything to do with Maiden. Seriously dude, I’m kinda pissed that you told me that these actually exist. FUCK IRON MAIDEN and fuck you. mbig is another on my shit list, it seems he’s selling these fucking clown shoes. These are literally aborted fetuses for your feet. If you’re lame and must own, I urge you to reconsider. Strongly reconsider. These are not cool. Doug, you are not cool for owning not 1, but 3 pairs. End of Story.

So earlier today I was in a friend’s car listening to SiriusXM radio and Schooly D’s Gucci time came on. What a killer track! So in honor of that song and all things Philly I present these kicks. Would I wear these? Maybe if I had the bankroll I would. But if Gucci is your thing I suggest you grab ‘em. The price is a couple bills less then getting them brand new. On an interesting note, Schooly did a soundtrack with another Philly legend, Chuck Treece (of Underdog). Get those bids into dukedatboy before it’s over and gone.

Good times.

Back to the sneakers! I love these and and actually own them. Here’s the back story on how I got them: my girlfriend at the time left me money hidden all over the house for pizza, smokes, weed, etc while she was away. Pretty nice lady, and being the resourceful/broke dude I was, I searched the house, found the cash ran down to Good Foot (an old sneaker shop here) and gripped these Nike Air Max 1 up. If you act fast, and I mean real fast, you can get ‘em cheap and fast. nicotineeyes has them and maybe you want them. Flashy as fuck and these will make necks snap. It’s 4:30 am and i want these…

I’m not the biggest Jordan fan, just never got into them. Maybe it was the fact the Air Jordan’s went from normal high tops to literally moon boots, but there was a brief time back in ’89/90 when I saw the video for “I’m Gonna Git you Sucka” and my mind was blown. Never heard of KRS 0ne, let alone Boogie Down Productions, but besides the slammin track I really liked their style. And that’s when I noticed the Jordan 3′s, which seller a_tate382012 has. Now these aren’t the ones they were wearing but I love these all the same. Simple, black, and cheap. Sure they look a little beat but the price is nice and I don’t see these going for too much.

Always on the cheap?

Who doesn’t like getting cheap shoes off ebay? I know I do, and I’m actually thinking about throwing a bid in for these bad boys. The last time I saw a pair of Nike Air Max 95 was in this super weird deadstock store in Berkeley, and they wanted $250. Way too rich for my blood, but if you come correct with the bids for this pair you might be able to score them on the cheap. Seller solesupremacysales has a ill pair for which started out cheap but now has 14 bids and a whole lotta time left.
