Here at Sneakernoize it’s hard to connect with our brother site Vinylnoize with this site. But seller aapjekoala has got a pair of never worn Revelation Adidas sneakers. For all you who don’t know what Revelation Records is, it’s an independent label that put out a ton of hardcore punk acts from the mid 80′s to the present. I decided I would put these guys on both sites so we could get some new readers. According to the auction description these where given out to bandmembers of Revelation records to celebrate the 150th record. These look brand new and come in original Adidas box. Size 40 , size 7. Back in 2009 Nike teamed up with Sub-Pop Records to create a limited shoe. The shoe that was chosen to represent this collaboration was the Nike Blazer. The blazer has a very retro feel and was one of the first basketball sneakers available. Sub-Pop Records came along at a time when music needed something new to break up the monotony of the 80′s. They helped change the face of music with a handful of artists. Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney,and more recently Mogwai and Pissed Jeans. n1ck11 is selling two pairs of this extremely limited pair of shoes. This is truly a great collectible for Sub-Pop fans everywhere. I personally like the Revelation Records Adidas shoe released to artists past and present but those are even more rare. I find it coincidental that both record labels have similar color logos and both were instrumental in elevating their respected genres of music.
